I decided to give the famous Liz Earle cleanse and polish a go after months of fighting for good skin. I literally spent 40 minutes a day cleansing, toning, exfoliating, oiling, and moisturising my face. The results of all this money and hard work was mediocre skin that remained spot prone.

When I went to the Liz Earle counter at my local John Lewis, I was pleasantly surprised by the service I received. The girl was lovely and spent so much time analysing my skin type and skin issues. I loved the fact that she was honest and acknowledged that my skin had issues, unlike some counters who flatter you into products. I mean I like flattery obviously but when I want my skin perfected I need someone to really LOOK at my skin. The girl at the counter finally discovered that my skin was not hugely oily. I had always been told I had oily/combination skin and had continued for years to use products designed for that skin type. My skin is acutually combination/ normal that is prone to dryness around the nose area. When I went to the counter I had hideous redness around my nose, it was itchy and sore, and needed green concealer to counteract the redness. I only used this cleanser once and this redness reduced immensely!

I absolutely LOVE this product! I love how it smells almost menthol! It is thick and creamy and feels sooo luxurious. I decided to cut down the complexity of my skin care routine, I no longer exfoliate my skin as the muslim cloths this cleanser come with do that for you. I chose to buy the starter kit as it is only £2 more expensive and comes with two of the muslim cloths. I also got the toner spritz, the lovely girl recommended me to get the spritz as you use less product compared to the bottle method, which I think is great! I used this several times whilst on a long drive last week. It feels sooo fresh and again has the beautiful Liz Earle scent. I would be extremely interested in trying out the moisturisers from her range now. The price tag is also reasonable for such great results, for both products I only paid around £20.

All thats left to say is Liz Earle you rock!
