MAC IMPASSIONED

In the UK we have holidays throughout the year called Bank Holidays. They are basically long weekends. In the North of England and also in the South, though not as much. These holidays are now associated with wild nights of drinking.... A LOT! As I knew such celebrations were approaching, I decided to treat myself to a new outfit. I bought a dress that had a pattern containing alot of bright pink. This then gave me the perfect excuse for buying a lipstick shade to complement the dress to a tee. I went into MAC expecting to be disappointed when I noticed a lip shade I had never seen before. When you see the images you will be like Lucy SAY WHAT you missed this colour! It is sooo flipping bright I think I may be hitting specksavers next week! I wore this shade last night, and it lasted, and lasted through pitchers of Cheeky Vimpto my favourite drink! Not only did I like it, but my friends must have too as I cought them drunkenly applying it on each other whilst I had trip to the ladies! tut tut, I hate sharing makeup, even with friends! This is a bold statement lipstick not for the faint hearted! But I have been trying to experiment more lately! I am forcing myself to avoid the timid pinks of lipsticks past! If you have pale skin like me (nw15- 20) this sets of the porcelain tones beautifully! It gives a real modern twist on Pin up lips!

Any way here come the pictures..... enjoy your extended weekends!

  4. Oh I love this colour! We have bank holidays in the US as well, but they typically coincide with national holidays (like next Labour Day weekend which is next weekend). They're great for the beach, which is what that lip colour makes me think of. Lucky you!
