I have become somewhat of a collection 2000 mascara connoisseur, read my previous mascara rant here. I have tried and tested the majority of their mascaras; and can honestly say I am delighted with the results attained. Until recently I had always associated young girls with this brand; and wholeheartedly believed that their products; especially mascaras would not fulfil my makeup expectations. How wrong could I be? If you can disassociate sparkly, clip on earing, crystal shoed little girls with this brand, you may be shocked at the quality of some of their products. I can honestly say I have not loved a mascara more than this for a long, long time. If I was going to compare the admiration I feel with a past mascara encounter it would be that of L’Oreal voluminous; that love however has dwindled in recent months; due to the runny consistency of several tubes purchased.
This mascara requires none of the ‘drying out’ process I feel many need to undergo before they give you the sought after fullness. This works fabulously from use one! With one coating of mascara you achieve results such as the picture below. I have applied one coat to my upper and lower lashes! I would in the past have been known to apply ample coats to attain a similar look.
I must admit that I am, and have never been a fan of larger brushes; I often find them tricky to use on the lower lashes. I am pleased to inform, that with a careful application; this can be applied mess free. The brush may be large; but the shape of the wand is ingenious. You have enough room to grip the lid, therefore steadying any shaky handy work. I find that putting pressure to the lid whilst applying stops my hand from shaking, if that tip makes any sense.
This mascara can be yours for just £4.99 a true bargain! So let’s give a well-deserved round of applause to the collection 2000 product creators. They must have been working around the clock, to revamp this range with such meticulous care.
