RIMMEL COLOUR MOUSSE EYE SHADOWS

As I previously posted, easy peasy eye combinations are what I’m looking for during the week, when let’s be frank, time is of the essence. I often grab for a Mac paint pot, or a Benefit cream eyeshadow. Of late, however my go to all over long lasting lid colour of choice has been Rimmels new mousse eyeshadows. These are remarkable! I don’t just mean satisfactory drug store quality; I’m talking all day, all night if you wanted longevity. These babies are not going anywhere! They have amazing colour payoff; and blendability.  The abundant array of colours is also fabulous, with many natural shades to choose from; perfect for everyday minimal makeup. These take two minutes to apply, and look great by themselves; or blended together to create a Smokey eye, you have to work quickly though; as once they're dry, they're not moving an inch.  I have also used the darker of the shades as eyeliner; and can report that it lasted phenomenally. At £4.99 these are steals, and will not disappoint.

Give them a bash next time you’re at the drugstore. I’m going to form a nice little assortment of these beauties.

  1. I find these really wet and hard to apply.. do you just use your fingers? Do you have any tips to make the most of them as it seems like I haven't been doing with mine :(

  2. I love these! Sassy is my favourite. I use so often and I hardly made a dent. They will last forever.
I also have the purple and the blue one but I didn't like them. The formula is totally different and really hard to work with.
I think these 3 are the best ones of the lot.
    Happy New Year!

  3. I use a large flat brush to apply; and then blend out with my Mac 217. Mine aren't wet, they dry super fast. I hope this helps x
