ADVANTAGE POINTS MARATHON

Here I have a cheeky little haul for you all. I finally got around to using my boots advantage card points. I don’t know why it had taken me so long to spend them! I mean free products, what is wrong with me? I had a mammoth amount; so deciphering what was a must have was a challenge in itself.  I pootled around everywhere from the bath and shower products to the high end makeup counters. It was so much fun. Don’t you just love shopping alone? I love spending as much time scrutinizing over products; not having to worry that the person with me is getting immensely frustrated. I understand that not many people feel as passionate about makeup and beauty as I do, so going it alone is the kindest way!

While I was out shopping a trip into Fenwicks (a department store) was called for; I mean it would be rude not to right? Whilst in there I bought a new 187 (mine was looking less than healthy so it met the bin) and the Mac cleanse off oil. I am not sure whether this may have been a bad move; I will let you know how it goes. This is most definitely a product that could swing either way; it may prove genius!  I also treated myself to a new set of Shu uemura eyelash curlers as mine went walkabout’s months ago! Revlon just doesn’t compare.

So what did I spend my advantage points on?

Benefit Coralista and Hoola- Hoola is an old friend, it’s a beautiful bronzer, perfect if you hate shimmery face powders like me. Coralista is a new product to me; I wore it today and thought it applied beautifully. It’s very buildable and easy to wear on an everyday basis. I’ll let you know how I feel about it in a few weeks.

The Sanctuary 5 minute thermal detox mask- This is such a ‘me’ product. I am a sucker for anything thermal. I love the sensation when you first apply any thermal exfoliator or mask. Again I used this yesterday and found that the warmth lasted for around 2 minutes, brilliant as the norm is about 30 seconds! This is an incredibly thick mask, and was a little difficult to remove. Yet again I’ll let you know how it serves me!

Soap and Glory clean girls- This is a cream body wash. I was suckered in by the packaging. I didn’t even smell the product. I ‘m not overly keen on the scent; but do like the packaging. It’s extremely efficient and easy to use whilst in the shower. Even if I didn’t like it I would keep it merely for the shelf appeal.

On my way home I decided to nip into space nk for a ‘look’ I asked the girl to swipe my Ndulge card as if I hadn’t already had enough luck with my advantage card. To my delight I had £15 so I decided to use it to buy one of the new Soft touch eye shadow pencils. It’s such a beautiful shade; great for easy eyes in the morning. My makeup has recently been about speed as my schedule involves lots of early starts (blah)

I hope you enjoyed these girls.

Don’t you just love point’s schemes? Have you had any point splurges recently?

  1. Great buys! You must have had a lot of points! I rarely have point splurges as I don't get many points! I think the most I've had is about £8?
